Angell Street Galleries is proud to be enhancing its gallery space by offering access to the public a small curated library. Through the organic growth of its own collection and relying on community book drives, Angell Street Library will add a different dimension to the traditional gallery experience. With readily available book swaps and monthly book club meetings, Angell Street Library will become a destination within a destination for the artistic community of Providence. We are also pleased to announce that our gallery librarian Darren Petrosino will be reviewing one of the collection’s books every Wednesday for publication on the Angell Street Galleries website. We are sure that his weekly reviews, his curated collection and his general love for books will inspire others in the community to do more reading.
